Bay Lodging has quickly become one of the most enjoyable hotels at Put-in-Bay since being purchased by Steven J. Alexander in 2020. With the help of his family and friends, Alexander has worked hard to transform Bay Lodging into a gem of a hotel. The hotel’s prime location offers easy access to downtown while providing a peaceful and quiet retreat at night. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including complimentary continental breakfast, fast and reliable internet, swimming, 10-person suites, golf cart rentals, and a poolside bar. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, Bay Lodging has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.

With its shallowness, Lake Erie is renowned for being the warmest of the Great Lakes during the summer months. However, swimming to the island is not recommended. Instead, we suggest clicking the button below to check out the ferry schedule and leave the swimming to the fish! For first-time visitors, our resources page provides all the information you need to get to and from the island and includes helpful tips for getting around during your stay. And when it comes to getting around on the island, we recommend our awesome golf carts.
